Have you heard of the Mercuriades Awards? Quebec’s most prestigious business competition, the Mercuriades, highlights businesses who stand out for their determination and commitment to innovation through a very rigorous selection process. 

The awards were introduced in 1981 by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) to inspire Quebec’s business community while preparing the next generation in business. The awards recognize the innovation, ambition, entrepreneurial spirit and performance of SMEs and large businesses around Quebec. 

Double finalist at the 2019 Mercuriades

Synergy Formwork received two nominations from the FCCQ and was a finalist in two categories: 

• Employer of the year–Large business 
• Workforce training and development–Large business

On the evening of April 29, 2019, over 1,200 members of the business community came together for the gala at the Palais des congrès de Montréal to celebrate the excellence of 69 Quebec entrepreneurs and their teams. The ceremony was presided over by Robert Dumas, President and CEO of Sun Life Financial, Quebec, who highlighted Synergy’s dedication to employees and recognized its performance in job creation.

We were honoured to be nominated at the 2019 Mercuriades among such prestigious Quebec businesses. 

Synergy DNA: the key to success

This recognition goes to show that developing our Synergy DNA has produced positive results. Five pillars of success were established to encourage our employees, clients and partners to adopt health practices: Health and Safety, Quality, Partnership, Team Spirit and Efficiency. The company now has over 900 tight-knit employees who demonstrate their care for quality and safety in all of their actions.
